Sliced sourdough or country white bread
Sliced turkey
Sliced tomatoes
Bacon, cooked, drained on paper towels
Swiss cheese or other, as desired
Mayonnaise
Butter, at room temperature, for grilling
Assemble sandwiches:
Spread mayonnaise on one side of bread. Place tomatoes on this side, then several slices of cooked bacon, then place turkey on top of bacon. Top with cheese, then bread.
Butter this top slice of bread. Turn sandwich, butter side down into medium hot pan, and grill until browned as desired. While sandwich is browing, butter the up side of the bread.
Flip sandwich over using a spatula, holding it together with a second spatula. Brown until cooked thoroughly to desired color.
Slice into two or three pieces.
