Ingredients:
One 9 inch Pie Crust
10 medium eggs
1/2 cup of whole or 2% milk
Salt and pepper to taste
2 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
3 green onions, diced finely
1/2 celery stalk, diced finely
8 grape tomatoes, sliced into four rounds each
5 or more ounces ham, trimmed and diced into 1/4 inch cubes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Roll out pie crust and place in 9 inch Deep Dish glass pie plate. Flute to help it stay in place.
Whisk eggs in medium bowl until frothy. Add milk and combine well. Salt and pepper eggs mixture to taste. Add ham and vegetables. Stir to combine.
Add egg, meat and vegetable mixture to pie crust. Top with grated cheddar cheese.
Place on center rack in oven and cook 50 minutes or until center is cooked well.
Any topping or vegetables may be substituted. Makes one deep dish Quiche.
